non-profit video production capital fundraising campaign

    Client: Museum of Science, Boston

As it looks forward to re-shaping the concept of what a science center needs to be in the 21st century, Boston’s Museum of Science commissioned a major film to help articulate its rich and compelling story. DigiNovations was the Museum’s choice for this important work, and we have crafted a video communications plan that will keep its communications fresh and relevant while the museum conveys its vision of the future.

  • Foundation Fundraising

Supporting a Rural Way of Life

foundation fundraising video for Holstein FoundationClient: The Holstein Foundation

Farm life is by its nature very difficult to experience unless you already live the rural way of life. Much of it is lived in pre-dawn hours, ankle-deep in mud, practiced by families who have passed along their craft for generations. So when it came time to capture that experience to support its effort to raise money for education and preservation of family dairy farming, The Holstein Foundation drew heavily on the storytelling skills of DigiNovations / North Bridge Productions.

The Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts is a very different kind of foundation, formed through the sale of an HMO in the late 1990’s. So when it came to summarizing the tremendously beneficial work it’s done in the community during its first five years, the foundation needed a film that was part education, part activity report, and part impact statement.

  • Arts Fundraising

    Building on the Revels Tradition

non-profit video production arts fundraisingClient: Revels

Revels has grown from a local holiday celebration to a national four-seasons phenomenon over the past 35 years - a time which has seen its activities expand to a broad range of activities to educate, entertain, and nourish the human spirit.  Yet many Revels constituents see only part of the total picture.  To support its fundraising activities, Revels commissioned a film in Spring of 2005 designed to capture not only its long list of activities but also to show how the organization has touched many people in very profound ways over the years.  The film has been the centerpiece of a series of fundraising breakfasts, and will be featured on the Revels website.

  • Fundraising Short-Take

    The Power of Campaign Endorsement

    non-profit video production fundraising short-take

    Client: Trinity Church, Boston

Sometimes the most simple productions can be very powerful...and today's modern concept of a corporate video production can and should be very modular in design. While our production in support of Trinity Church's major historic preservation and restoration project has been in process, we've excerpted key interviews to be used quickly by workers on the campaign in their PowerPoint presentations. This project is producing not just a single monolithic video program, but rather a toolkit of components that can be used daily.
  • Training Action Video

    Bringing Excitement to Training

non-profit video production training action video

    Client: Emerson Hospital

When Emerson Hospital conducted an important drill to simulate the results of a terrorist attack, they asked North Bridge Productions to document the day. But Emerson wanted something that would be more interesting and engaging to watch than a run-of-the-mill training video. Using driving music and reality-TV shooting and editing techniques, the North Bridge team created a video that can be watched again and again without loss of interest – perfectly fulfilling Emerson Hospital’s goal. The film is now used by several fire and police departments throughout Eastern Massachusetts.
