His responsibilities at DigiNovations channel his experiences in product and corporate marketing, product management, business development, and strategic marketing into defining and developing innovative solutions that effectively leverage DigiNovations’ premier video services through exciting Internet-based technologies.

Prior to joining DigiNovations, Lee was Senior Director of Product Management for Fast Search and Transfer, a Norwegian developer of search solutions for enterprise clients which was acquired in April by Microsoft. While managing the company’s portfolio of solutions around knowledge discovery, Lee led the development of a new, enterprise desktop search platform selected as a finalist in 2006 for a Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA) //CODiE// Award for Best Enterprise Search Engine. In 2005, another solution, designed for gathering and analyzing market intelligence from open sources, was the submission for another //CODiE// finalist, FAST ™ ESP (Enterprise Search Platform). Lee also developed and managed relationships with third party technology partners focused upon advanced text mining applications.

Prior to 2003, Phillips worked in executive and leadership capacities in product marketing, product management, and business development for information and software leaders – NewsEdge, Ziff-Davis, Borland, and Lotus. He also helped build a start-up through a major strategic investment and subsequent acquisition. In each case, he developed and told the story of products, services, and organizations that garnered accolades and awards – and overcame some real obstacles.

Prior to his career in the software industry, Lee worked in economic and management consulting for Data Resources, Management Decision Systems, and Nolan, Norton & Company – analyzing markets, industry dynamics, and technology adoption for clients across every major industry group.
